The Carolina House and Family

I was able to purchase, at a fantastic deal, Victoria's Farmhouse.  It is made by Real Good Toys.  Hubby is helping me construct the house.  I wanted to do a modern house.  I am also working on a lighthouse with a 1920's theme.

Since I am dealing with a current time frame, I decided I needed a modern family and want to have some fun!  Thus, Marc, Lucy, Cooper, and Ivy came along.  They will be the newest family to live on Isle of Mead. (My mini country)

So the story begins!  Marc and Lucy are having a house built on the Isle of Mead.  Since they are from North Carolina and both attended UNC at Chapel Hill, the outside of the house will be painted in UNC colors.

Now the biggest job is deciding on wallpaper, flooring and other details of the inside of house.

Lucy is homeschooling Cooper and Ivy.

Cooper is 8 years old and has a very vivid imagination.  He decided that since he is going to live on an island, Pirates are going to be the theme of his room.  Ivy, on the other hand, is 5 and loves butterflies.

Because the house is done with a farmhouse look on the outside, Lucy wants a farmhouse type kitchen.  She really wants to do Roosters, Hens, and Chicks in her kitchen.

The family is planning a trip very soon to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
